i read this silly fun read in 1 day, it was a good silly read
the doula was a bit more intense, the story of a girl who chose to leave her family business to become a doula, only to serve at her BBF's birth where the mother dies, the father sues her and she comes to terms with who she is...a good read
i started this mon night an finished it on wed. it was not my typical style of book, but really good...it had a bit of a dark side to it...now i need to start the pile of books i bought last week. ha. see, i said i wasnt going to waste my summer but ENJOY the free time to read as much as i can! and not feel guilty for 1 minute!
tues was my mom's birthday, so i took the kids in town to call her. the rain stopped long enough to meet chris at the park to play

the rain started back up so we went to the library. i needed wifi. the girls played and played and played...when i went to pay the parking the guy said it was 4.00. i was like what? we usually pay 2, then i calculated the time we were there...3.5 HOURS!!!!
back at the cabin we did some painting. i drew this leaf to pain in....with kids paint. ha
nate did this. i knew right away what it was. its moses's tablets from the 10 commandments!
i started this "cabin blog book" at the cabin. when we find or see something, ill draw or attempt to draw it and write a journal page. i use kids water paint so the quality sucks. ha. but i did the leaf in the puddle

we left the cabin wed morning. the kids wanted to play with their friends and i needed to come home to do some house work. the weather has FINALLY turned HOT! we spent the day outside in the pool. i was able to finish my book and enjoy the day!
today its calling for +30 weather. my plans are to get outside ASAP and hang with the kiddo's in the heat! ....nd hopefully pick a new book to polish off!
i LOVE summer!!!
