on thurs i took the girls into town to the splash pad. chris was with rudi and i was wanting to get a change of scenery. it was a delightful day!
after rudi left, we spent fri visiting an old friend from sasky. they put in this great pool last fall in their back yard, so we enjoyed spending time in it. it was so hot out, so it was super refreshing to swim. i even went in!
after the adults were done with the pool, we sat in the shade on their awesome patio couches/loungers. see chris we DO need them. haha and chatted while the kids played
it was such a nice treat to spend time with them. the kids all got along and we got along with each other, all of our personalities all meshed
karen and i went to make supper, while chris and johhn talked. john is an air canada pilot, so we were able to ask him tonnes of questions about his job. so fascinating!
by 8 joey was done. i LOVe these pics. joey is looking a bit sad...

sat, we had been at the farm for 8 days and i said "THATS IT! we are NOW starting OUR vacation!" all obligations are DONE! and i want some family time
so we went back to the beach. it was really humid and it was STUPID slammed busy. i had chris stop at the dollar store so i could get some floats for me and the kids. chris was the man and blew them up
it was SO busy
safety first! princess crown second. everyone MUST wear a crown while swimming! ha
i went inthe water with the kids, chris kept the stuff safe and had a nap. ha
we came home to get cleaned up and i had some tea with this gal after her sister went to bed

i cant get over how fast time is going and how big the kids are getting!
