halloween

 we dont do halloween, so this yr we took the kids to the pool.  we met up with 2 other couples and had a great time swimming...i do have to admit.  after chris arrived one of my friends said "let us girls go for coffee"  so we did! ha  it was GREAT!  when i came back from coffee i found this...

 ellie took off her floaties

 and jumped into the deep end and SWAM!

after swimming we grabbed a pizza and headed to the cabin for the weekend

 fri we woke up to NO power!  it was out for most of the day.  i used the generator to make meals and flush the toilet, only turning it one 2 times.  we cooked lunch on the bbq.  for a day at the cabin, with no power, computers, ipads or x-box it turned into the BEST day!  we painted, read, played games and told stories. the girls put on a few shows and joey showed me her fancy gymnastics.  it was a really good day!

so yea for rainy, stormy days at the cabin!
