corona pt 2!

 with corona taking over, i packed the kids up on wed and went to the cabin!  once we got there joey and ellie got busy starting the fire while i unpacked the food

 ellie read the instructions to joey and joey got it all ready!!!  i was SO impressed!!!!  i had nate start the fire

 we have taken MANY walks!  this one was up a huge hill and joey was too tired to walk, so nate carried her. UP the HILL!

 i LOVE thatN.B has so many trails for us to enjoy 5 mins from the cabin

 we tried the dobson trail, but unfortch it was too icy and we dont have shoes with ice spikes on them so we had to turn back BUT i cant wait to do this trail this summer!

 my little helper. last night after supper joey asked to wash the dishes. and she did.  it took her a good 30 mins BUT she was everything really well, as well as the counter, floor and her shirt. ha

family update!

sigh. corona. ha

so i took the kids to the cabin last wed, chris stayed home to work from home and spend his evenings in the shop.  it was SOOOOO nice to get away from the media and news and just chill

thursday my friend and her kids came out to visit with us.  it was so nice, the weather was +6 and sunny.  we made a bon fire, roasted lunch and had marshmallows over the fire.  the kids played and sled for 3 hrs and were SOAKED when they were done.  a and i sat in the sun, drank coffee and talked/caught up and enjoyed being outside...towards the end of the afternoon her phone pinged with the announcement that New Brunswick had declared a state of emergency. which brought us back to reality...

after they left i called chris and got caught up on the news. 

we spent the rest of the week at the cabin. in isolation...and relaxing

why relaxing?

because this is MY MARCH BREAK!  we had planned to join my sis and my brother in N.S for the Nova Scotia march break which was last week.  due to the virus, we cancelled the plans and stayed home....i decided to take wed-sat "off" and i enjoyed watching my shows, reading, walking the trails and feeding my chipmunks at the cabin

its funny though, a lot of ppl have asked me how im doing. im dong fine!  nothing really has changed in my life...other than cancelling all my socail stuff (sniff, sniff)  our life is the same!  i feel bad for the moms that are home with their kids who now have to home school....but thats a whole other blog...the one thing i keep telling ppl is this....

.STOP TRYING TO DO SCHOOL AT HOME! that is NOT home school!  just love and enjoy your kids, talk, read, read and read more!  cuddle, watch a show, bake and cook together, walk and talk, read a book....dont stick your kids in front of a screen! 

anyways!  my life is still the same...ha

the plan for this week will prob change day by day...im at the house today blogging, getting groceries, cleaning and grabbing a few things we need. im going back to the cabin with the kids for a few days...i plan on picking back up with school at the cabin and prob come back to town mid week...

oh one thing i did change over march break was cancel nate's on line classes.  basically its too easy for him, so im going to come up with plan b...not sure what that will be yet....

so we are good.  we are blessed.  and life goes on....
