it's all fun and games: April 2021

easter!

easter arrived to our house, sadly we went able to be with blood family. i kept easter sunday super easy. the girls had this and nate had that

they were thrilled nonetheless, super sad to not be with family in hali. we went out to the cabin sunday afternoon and had a friend join us for easter dinner. us eigenheer's stayed the night at the cabin and came back to the house the next day

i was putting away laundry and found this. both girls organized a "candy" drawer in their dressers!

the play doh kept them busy!

the BEST time of the year!

ZOO CAMP! the girls are SOOOO thrilled to join their friends! so much fun!

they are studying primates this time around and joey had to bring her stuffy to show the class!

off they go into the big, bad world!

after zoo camp we went home to pick up nate and head to the cabin for the weekend. after the girls went to bed i was able to pick up my book and giggled at my book mark! haha!

joey ended up in my bed with me for the night. she took advantage of chris not being there. and i loved every minute!

we had friends join us on friday afternoon. the kids went to the river and explored while the adults caught up. nate came back like this! he went SWIMMING!

the kids then took of to the woods and came back to report dead animals. me, being me, i grabbed my phone and followed them....yep....a racoon and a

GOAT! in a TREE!?!? how in the world did it get there like this????

and i found this! a huge bone!

after a long day the kids went to bed and i found joey like this. she set up camp on the pull out bed upstairs outside my door. cuddling heart-heart

the tooth FINALLY came out! with a little*cough* help from chris. joey added 2.00 to her collection

and my baby is losing her bay teeth way too fast!

cabin!

we had a beautiful saturday and i took the kids to the river. joey lead the way

spring water!

i put braids in her hair

nate and ellie explored then got bored and went back to teh cabin. joey and i stayed another hr

sunday at the cabin is CREPS by daddy day! im not sure when this started but sundays chris makes crepes for us and the kids put everything they can find to put on the table.

we had a work day, chris cut down some big trees

then we started moving the wood from the side of the wood shed to inside

voila! it was SO much easier this time around, i had the girls help inside and nate brought the logs to us. the last time i did this was 3 yrs ago with nate! i was teary thinking about how fast the time has gone by!

i went to call my sister and found this! ellie colored and put this rainbow on my mirror!

life!

i took this pic monday night. nate is going to be taller than chris! he already hugs me and calls me "shorty" haha

i went to tuck joey in after she fell asleep. i found this. i guess she missed me. its a pic of my sister and i as kids!

i was feeling like i needed ANOTHER activity to go to. hahaha...i asked my friend to meet us at the park....where 8 other home schoolers also had the same idea! we were able to sit and chat while the kids played. there is something so wonderful about coffee with a friend!

fri morning i was feeling like it was a FRIDAY! i had the girls rollerblade while i had my second cup of coffee....i needed it just to start the day!

today was a HUGE first! i let the girls go the park at the end of the st with a friend...with out me! then go in their friends house! prayers please! letting the girls have more freedom is scary!!! but i have to trust what ive put into them!
