the front room had a make over as well. we painted it the same color as the kitchen. and yes, that would be my Christmas tree still in the front room! joey loved spinning around on the floor and dancing, because, well. life is just FUN!
ive made a HUGE effort to cook and have family meals together. the kids like to help. i had to laugh when i found joey peeling a mini carrot!
front room complete!
my bookshelf for now. top is to read pile, plus about 10 more in my room and ive added to this pile since. the lower level is my "top picks" so far this yr. when asked which books id recommend i pull from this pile. its a little more organized!
sad but cute ellie story. ellie? what's in the box?
fluffy! now the sad part of the story. ellie adores her pigs, she takes really good care of them and takes them with her during the day. she carried fluffly around in the tool box one day a few wks ago(the blog is way over due for an update) anyways! i called her to school and she forgot about fluffy! fluffy spent the night in the tool box. she was disciplined for being forgetful but i think she felt bad enough. the last thing she would ever do is hurt her animals! fluffy is ok! and they are back to taking the pigs everywhere with them!
morning coffee in my bed!
fluffy loves the smell of my coffee. haha
while i was doing school with ellie joey set this up and played with it for 2 days.
math, engineering, logical thinking and problem solving skills were used!
i had a LONG over due girls night out. i picked the restaurant. my fav! cafe archibald. so good. nothings better than good food and wonderful friends!
my little crafter. joey and i worked on a family surprise. after reading little women we discussed the important of mail. not only is mail essential in the 1800's and today for news, information, entertainment, social/etc...it was a great way to share that you care
so joey crafted away while ellie worked on her lessons
and we made mail boxes for the family!
wait! 6?! why heart heart has her own too!
haha. proud joey of all her hard work
mail for me! ellie and her friends also had fun making letters for us and leaving them in the boxes
old fashioned mail is still a big hit!
