playing, snow and creating

 we busted out the gingerbread house yesterday morning for ummmm art class. yes, art class

 ellie played quietly the whole time
sigh. what a girl

 nate did the decorating after i stuck it together with icing glue. ha

after book work, we went outside for gym class

 nate pulled her. i remember when nate was in the sled and i pulled him

time is going by so fast!

i dropped by my crazy neighbor who LOVES winter and is turning her front lawn into a snow play ground with slides, tracks and slops...nate had a blast out there. i left after 15 mins, i was frozen, ellie was shivering. nate played outside with his friends for 1.5 hrs. he came home frozen

 good thing i made this DELISH banana bread with lindt chocolate...thanks dad!  so good! yum yum

that was our day in a flash.

we are done book work, we finished ummm a week or so ago. i am not telling nate that, hahahaha. so i am sitting down with him this week to work on some grammar and reading. you can never learn to much there.  i plan on sneaking in some naps too ;) i am so very tired these days... funny story....i was suppose to go out last night to do some neglected errands when chris got home. i chose to take a nap instead. hahaha and spend the night on the couch watching my shows...it was great
