saturday i spent almost the whole day making decorations for the up coming home school valentine party that a few of us awesome moms are putting on for the kids. joey stayed and "helped" me....she also made a few of her own pieces of art. joey LOVES to make, create, color, cut, and glue. she gets lost in it. it also keeps her busy. i gave her a shelf in the school cart to use...why? because after running out of pictures to make sun morning (while chris and i slept) ellie helped her get new pics...for the ORIGINAL CURRIC! that i photocopy from. good thing joeys the last kid, bu still i was upset to see that she colored and cut up the originals...now the girls know better and we had a lesson on DO NOT TOUCH MOMS DESK!

i have NEVER in all my years on the east coast have EVER seen a winter like this. this is JANUARY!!!! where is the snow????? hello!
