we are in a GREAT routine at the cabin. weve been out there for over 2 wks now and i LOVE it! school work gets done faster than at home! the kids love to play outside when its not raining, and i have time to read or watch a show. i dont feel stir crazy at all out there...but the kids do get to me once and awhile...
they have chores now. joey LOVES to wash the dishes so she does that

and ellie likes to cook. so im teaching her that
one day it was raining and i wanted to call my parents so i put the kids in the car and we drove to the end of the driveway so i could talk and not get wet...the girls played in the back and had so much fun
i think ellie looks cute in a hat!
joeys bite mark 2 wks later...it looks like there will be a scar :(
thurs i was doing school with joey and look over to find this. ellie built a zip line for her stuffies and joey had to play....so i tossed the school books away, made a fresh pit of coffee and read instead! the BEST way to spend the morning
they played this game for about 2 hrs
and i finished my book. SO good! 380 pages read in less than 24 hrs
daddy came thurs night and brought ellie mail from jessy

thurs night i was feeling "momed out!"i talked to chris and we agreed that after spending 16 days non stop with the kids, i needed a break! so chris took the girls to the house fri morning, nate stayed at the cabin with me until noonish, then we came to the house so i could cut hair, fix lunch and then i KICKED everyone out around 3:30....to start my night alone!
i took a LONG bath, then a nap, then ate, watched a show, caught up on texts and talked to some friends on messenger...to fall asleep at 10! to then wake up at 1 and could not get back to sleep....sigh...its so quiet at the cabin and i had a hard time adjusting to the noise in the city! im thinking i need a re-do and will stay tonight again....but im LOVING the quiet! LOVING NO demands! this is awesome.
at the house we got more mail! the girls finished their sheets before they left. thanks quinn for putting all that work and effort into my girls! love you!
i plan on going back to the cabin tomorrow and stay for the week, the way things are going and esp with us getting more school done out there, id rahter stay! i do miss wifi and the news but at the same time i dont! i like being in the woods, happy as can be!
