i delivered ellie and joey's love letters to jessy. he told me that he loves ellie even more. haha.
last wkend i had the AMAZING time away at the house by myself! it was so delightful, i talked to family and friends, emailed, read, watched tv. went for a walk, slept...and i did it ALONE! it was AMAZING!!!!! thanks chris!
i also bathed these cuties!
i mean come on now, arent they the cutest little things! ha
chris came on sun with the kids, this whole social distancing is hard for adult, its torture for the kids. i found jessy like this....and this is another reason why my windows will never be cleaned!
"let me in"
i decided to take the kids back to the cabin. its just too hard on me and them to keep them all separated.
so...everyone knows i love my little critters. i feed them daily when im at the cabin..."red" the little squirrel almost ate out of nates hand!
see how close he got!
by the end of the summer, they will be eating out of our hands!
chasing the critters
when chris is at the cabin, we make a habit of kicking ALL the kids out of the porch in the morning so we can sit on the table and drink our coffee together. chris has noticed that the birds and critters come waiting for their food! its the funniest thing, and i think he's starting to get why i love my little critters...so much that i bought 2 bird houses and asked chris to modify them to turn them into squirrel feeders. bawahhhh!
i started this baby last sun, i read 1 chapter and knew i couldnt read it unless i was alone or uninterrupted...so i put it back on the shelf...
joey reading outside with me!
see!
sun night i had a bon fore with the kids, this was BEFORE we were banned from having fires...insert eye roll
love this pic!
great idea nate! open the jiffy pop with a hammer!
it smelt so good....
busted eating it....after i said i wasnt going to have any...i did...i had a lot...cough...
