freedom to the butterfly!

 we let our butterfly free yesterday after school. 

 fly to freedom little fella. we loved having you with us as you changed from caterpillar aka as the larva, the pupa and we watched you emerge as an adult!  this project was super fun for us!  yeah for home education!

last night we attended the mche (moncton christian home educators) family pot luck. the turn out was HUGE.  i was able to follow my new rule, which is saying hi, intro'ing or talking to 1 person that i did not know before. i met a lovely french lady from shediac and her family.  after dinner, which was awesome, we headed outside for some family fun.  nate almost didnt come bec he was playing soccer with some of the older kids

yesterday we finished up math, reading and spelling. so now we have science to finish up and we are done, ditty done, done school till oct-nov or when ever i feel like going back next yr.  i wanted to have nate 1/4 through gr 2/3 curric so we could have the freedom to start later next yr...once this wk is done, ill be able to focus on next yr
