i had to run errands with all the kids, such a FUN way to spend the day. ha. on the way home around 2 it was 34! by the time i got home it was 36! it was NUTS! normally, i LOVE the heat but i think the kids suck the energy out of me and the heat leaves me feeling yucky!
anyways, we are so thankful for the pool. the kids have spent most of the time "home" in it. i snapped this pic yesterday of the girls. love the way joey loves her sis...even when shes not being nice to her!
i got the girls boogie boards. they love them. check out joey! man, a lot of changes with her from this summer to last!

i sit in the shade and watch. it takes me 5 seconds to get to them if they need me. sure, its not helicopter parenting, but its safe and im comfortable with it.
shade time! snack time! with the heat and chris being gone from dusk to dawn or later. im not in the mood to cook. like i like to cook normally. ha. but its just different around the dinner table with out chris. its lonely. i miss him. so ive resorted to making "kid" meals a lot this week. they LOVE it, me? not so much. i wanna go back to our reg food...kids meals are chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, french toast, hot dogs, pizza etc...sigh. this season will end soon! i wont complain. ill enjoy the sun! ha
