play dates!

 this is how nate entertain himself when on a play date with no one his age. ha.  poor dude, we went to the splash park on tues and no one was there his age, then tues we had friends over, again, all the kids were younger!  poor kid, but he got through it. ha

i spent the afternoon catching up with a friend

 while watching the kids. a perfect afternoon!

 after the splash park, we hit up costco where the NASTIEST storm clouds came in.  about 5 mins after getting in the store. boob! power went out!  the place was so weird in the dark!

 the girls were a bit nervous. but we got through it and home to a house with no power!  the kids were super impressed with mom's problem solving skills and getting us in the house with NO key! 

 wed chris went to his day job, then to the land.  i needed him to pick up nate so i wrote him a note to remind him....

 nate wrote one, ellie too

 and guess what?  he remembered!!!!

 i had the girls make their supper.  ive been getting them more involved in the kitchen lately

and guess what?  they ate it all!
