tues!

 i am so far behind my blog, its scary!  but i just put the girls to bed, nate is out. i have a few mins to try and hammer out a few posts....

it is SO hot here, we are having a crazy heat wave!  last week we hit up the splash pad and spent 3 hrs there.  id say 2 hrs more than what nate wanted! ha

 after the splash pad we went to visit chris. while sitting at the lights ellie says "look! it says jesus pizza!  jesus loves pizza!"

 we picked up daddy...when chris works his reg job and then goes to the land i make a point to go visit with the kids. so they can see him and i can chat and touch base. ive realized how imp it is for us to have regular contact with him working these long hrs...

anyways! we picked chris up and found a new place to visit? why?? bec i got an alert on my phone that they found 5 more needles at the park we usually go to and to stay away for the day bec they are unable to clean the park up at the time.  how sad! 

ANYWAYS!  we ended up having a long visit with dad and it was SO fun!

 we hit up the chocolate river at low tide!

 and for the first time, i got to feel the feeling of the mud in my toes!!! SO fun!!!!
