and now its novemeber!

i just finished this series on amazon prime. i loved the show! then found the book on my "to read" list at the cabin. haha. i hope to read this week

i picked this baby baby last sat off the pile at the cabin. i could. not! put! it down!  i read until my friends showed up around 2is...and as soon as they all left i ran back to keep reading.  i have a few more chapters to finish....hoping tonight!  its the love story based on frank loyde wright and mamah cheney...it changed chicago's elite society....its a GREAT read!

mon i was prepping for my meeting and the girls were playing. it was the cutest!  they got into my closet and tried on my shoes and scarfs, then did each other's hair and make up...
let them stay little!
tues we did school.  as i did ellie's lessnos joey just plays, i could hear her talking and i turned around to this set up....a store and a craft show
she would finish up her craft and change the table cover and say "its a new day!" and a new craft began...
after swimming, which is super fun!  i love seeing my girls and unwind from another school day!  its woth the wonky time (1-2)   i was folding laundry and came up on this....joey and her stuffies!

hey wait a minute!

brownie!  bawah the poor guinea pigs!  joey even dressed him up. so funny
ellie had fluffy....but i hear "mom. can we get a dog?" every. single. day. MULTIPLE times the answer is always NO! i got you guinea pigs! ha
tues night i did my trail for next wed.  amanda, steph and i are putting on a remembrance day for the home school kids. we are doing paintings, read a few stories and writing letters to mail across to soldiers who are overseas
i painted this in 15 mins, super easy to do. ill teach the older kids, step will do the littles
my girls joined in with me
voila!
wed was ZOO CAMP! the highlight of their life! ha.  this is the last one for the yr, the other 2 were canceled bec of covid....i tild the girls they can make up the loss 2 from the fall in the spring. they had a BLAST.  and i was able to be home with nate....to give him his science test. hahaha
after lunch i took this cutie on her date.  i normally keep the dates around 5 dollars but i decided to surprise her with this!  pottery paining at the studio! she LOVED it and did a great job

such concentration!
then i got hungry! so we went to wendys. she could not believe that i would get a frosty just for her. haha
and a toy! i had to run errands after for 3 hrs! and she did great! no complaining. and was a true joy to hang with. its nice to have that one on one with each kids...they are SO different!
so chris met this swiss guy in moncton and they have been baking bread and trading with each other. he came over yesterday with this bad boy, fresh out of the oven.  it was SOOOO good.  the butter melted on it good!
mmmmm swiss bread. it was finished by 3
late night games!

so tues i had this horrible tooth ache, and it went into wed...so finally i caved and had an emerg appoint yesterday to figure it out....yep!  i have an abscessed tooth!  im on an antibiotic and hope to have the root canal taken care of next week....this whole tooth pain has messed up my plans for the wkend. in stead of going to the cabin with friends and having a bon fire tonight, and  gun shooting tomorrow...im saying home to nurse a tooth ache!  boo!

ive slacked with the book school this wk...we've done a lot of life schooling instead....like clean your room! pick up your crap!  and destroy mom's decorative pumpkins...they spent 2 hrs cutting and playing with the pumpkins. totally worth it. haha
and with that another week has ended, and i have a messy house to show it. ha. i hope to nurse my tooth, read and watch a show this wkend....maybe get a walk in somewhere...the weather has been so nice!  its +15 right now.  i can handle this kind of fall!

Mel, you should frame your poppy picture, that is the best.
