pt 2

fri we went on a familt fun day!
we went to a new park in mt uniake
it was a great park! the kids played, while i chatted with my sis!
then we hit up a trail. ive never been here before, or heard of the place....i took a few pics on the way

quinn too! i walked with quinn and he started to tell me abou the history of this place, the trail we were  walking on was the historical 1900's trail!  what???
then he told me we were walking up the the house of the guy that mount uniake was named after!! what the what!??!  i LOVE history, eso the late 1800-1920's....i  was STUNNED to find this house
see...this is the house that this guy built (restored obs) and the path we walked was the trail they used to get from hali to here....i grabbed the kids and snapped these pics

can you even imagin living here in the 1900's!  i will be back to tour the house in the spring. i love history and this little piece of history is 15mins from my sister's house! how did i not know it was there????
