books!

i didnt read as much as i thought i would. i ended up watching movies, doc's, and the chosen.  but i did read these.  i enjoyed the american wife. it was a memoire from a Japanese daughter about her mother's adjustment to american after ww2 with her american military hubby. lots of cultural differences and i discovered some new things about japanese history...a good read! 

anything by kelly rimmer is a winner!  a fantastic suspense!  

this was the most interesting memoir ive read.  it was written by a daughter who was left to empty her parent's 23 roomed house that was filled with family memorabilia going back 100 yrs  or more with British royalty roots.  fascinating to read.  ive googled more info on the author since. the house was located in ontario. great book! 

loved the beginning of this book. but i had to put it down, it talks about some areas that i struggle with so i shelfed it until next yr.

i picked this up last wk and started reading it last night...so far so good!

i wonder how many books ill read this yr? maybe i should keep a list or something?
