meekas mom is done breeding and is up to be homed. i want her! look at her! she's gorgeous! chris said a hard NO! but that wont stop me from asking him everyday.
i had my eye check up and everything is perfect. i dont need to have them redone for awhile (lasik) joey came with me

the girls had a home school meet up. somehow i ended up with 3 extra. so what do you feed 5 hungry kids???? their fav. noodles with butter and cheese. and a side of what ever veggie i have!
joey wears these fake glasses. they are adorable on her. i tried to get a pic but she was in a bad mood, i told her she had to go to bed...and this is what i got

i thought my days of diapers were OVER. it was so weird going into the baby section again! So! last week i noticed and reported to chris many times, haha. that i thought meeka was acting different. she was more tired, cleaning herself more, her fur/coat was shinier and softer/ she seemed to be more hungry but mostly she was much more cuddly and "attached" to me. when she cant be with me she cries for me. out of the blue i said "i think she might be going into heat" 2 days later! voila! blood. meeka is in heat! so that means no more puppy park till she's done. i skipped dog pad due to the cost....really....14 pads for 40??? so i got her the biggest pull up i could find. and cut a hole for her tail. they work great. she doesnt chew at them.
and she looks so cute!
i decided that i was going to let her go into her first heat then have her fixed. in the long term its much healthier for the dog and if i can get an extra year out of her ill do the extra work now. besides, ive diapered 3 kids. its not a big deal. ha
joey wanted to be a mermaid. so she went into the tub. for 2 hrs. but shes back to being herself now!
we had our first STORM of the year! and miss meeka LOVED it! shes is for sure an outside winter dog! she spent most of the evenings playing in the snow on the deck and wouldnt come in. it was so cute to watch her dig and play
yea. i think im obsessed with my dog. ha
