it's all fun and games: cabin

chris has been poking away at building his office. over the holidays he finished the framing, the roof and installed the door

the BEST gift i got for christmas was my sister came for a visit! the kids went to the cabin with chris and we stayed at the house. 2 full days of hanging with my sis! we shopped, ate our meals in the car. haha, chilled on the couch, slept in and did it all with NO kids and quiet! it was amazing!!!!! thanks chris, this was the best gift ever! well next to a cruise but thats not happening any time soon,,,,

and i fell in love with a dog! she's 3/4 newf and 1/4 berner. the opposite of meeka. look at the size of this dog!

we spent new years at the cabin with the kids and their friends. i tried to walk meeka in the woods as much as i could....it was quiet there. ha

then i did this. i think i broke my toe, i slammed it on the edge of the bed, it was so swollen and i still cant walk on it. it hurts so bad!

but i hobbled around with meeka

chris worked on the office roof, while i nate and i manned the fire pit. the kids played outside and meeka ran off leash and LOVED it

day 3! i stopped taking picks after that. its been over a wk and i still cant touch the toe with out pain. i think its broken

i hobbled to the woods to take meeka for her run and came across this. thanks to ursi and jeff we figured it was 2 coyotes

and a poor bunny was had...

i went to join chris at the cabin on monday. he had the day off and nate was working. once i got there i knew the tell tale signs of a bladder infection....i ended up getting a phone appointment!

waiting for the dr to call me. he called in my prescription and i picked it up on the way home! one perk of covid! im feeling MUCH better now!

nate had the BEST idea. instead of putting the door to the office at the back, chris cut a hole in the shed for the door. so you walk into the shed then into the office. it will help keep the office area warm, and a place to hang jackets/books. great idea nate!
