nate's 15!

chris and i went to grab food for his party but got stuck in geese crossing zone. haha

i can not believe nate is 15!  i wasnt able to get many pics of him and his birthday celebration...parents were to be seen and not heard. haha

for his b-day he wanted to do a sleep over/hike at crooked creek but the weather did not agree with him.  so we made a plan b. a visit to the local swimming hole where nate got to meet some locals...then home for a get together with some of his friends, i think 8 stayed over night in total. they all slept in the tent.  it was co-ed. yes i was ok with it.  i dont mind his friends coming around. actually, i rather them stay here!  since his party which was the 1st wk of aug some of his friends are reg visitors 

nate did not want a cake, but i insisted.  it was completely finished by morning. ha.  

the girls with his sparklers!  which iwas an inside joke, he's scared of them...remember his 2nd bday where he got burnt by them?  so long ago

the table of teens

 its weird having a teen child.  he's so mature, i think too mature at times!  he's independent and focused.  works hard and is an amazing son.  i cant wait to see what this yr brings to him!  he has his new scooter now, and he's off with his friends.  i love that he's stepping out into the world and sad at the same time.  i miss my little boy.  but he will always be my buddy!
