i fianlly got to start my block project. new yrs eve. ha. i got the idea from our kids ministry program, it was one of the projects we choose not to use. i found my own download on line (so i did not use orange for my personal use) i printed them out in color, cut them out and had chris cut up a bunch of blocks from an old 2x4 that he wasnt using. i then got a modge poge (sp???) for paper and wood and simply glued the paper onto the blocks. it took 3 coats and voila done!
the kids love playing with them and i am finding them all over the house to prove that. haha
nate's new years book
i printed a bunch of different questions/printable from a bunch of different sites (all for home school/personal use copy write) and made my own book for him
i had him start it yesterday, he answers the questions when he feels like it. i told him when he's done i will put it away for next yr to read and save for the future
the blocks on display which was taken a part right after this pic was taken. chris is a bit surprised by how the kids have taken to them
working on his book, while ellie sneaks in another snack!
and now to start another new year! i plan on spending the day taking down the tree and cleaning but so far i have eaten, slept and had another snack and another nap. haha. oops...
chris and i had a wonderful night last night. i planned a surprised in house date for him, i put the kids to bed and we spent the evening doing adult things bawahhhhh it was so nice. quiet. what a great way to start the new year
i wonder what this year will bring us? ...................

Dearest Melanie:
When I see such a display of your talent with projects such as this, there is no doubt you have made the right decision concerning home schooling.
Your children would never ever have such attention to detail and care with LOVE as you can and have provided.
Your an awesome wife, mother, teacher, care giver and daughter. You are Blessed of God.
Continue to climb your mountain and beat down your enemies.
Love Baby Girl,
