we took the kids up to halifax for easter. this was pit stop #1 for ellie. i am SO proud of her. she was dry the whole time! love jo peeking out
jo crashed 20 mins from hali...she did SO well. she slept like a champ the whole weekend. actually, all the kids did AWESOME. there was not 1 fight, the boys had a sleep over 2 nights, all the kids played SO nicely together. it was AMAZING. cant wait to do it again! i was able to spend time with the kids, cuddle in bed with the boys, laugh, make memories but most important, i was able to step back, smile and say THIS is how i dreamed it would be. SO glad my kids have family and cousins as besties
from watching ellie and charlie play so well together, nate and quinn staying in the same room, laughing and sharing stories in the secret of the darkness (while i listened at the door ha) quinn and ellie playing cars to charlie and nate sitting on the couch. the way all 4 kids showed kindness, love and thought of each other before themselves.uncles playing with the kids, taking turns getting them hyped up and throwing them on the couches, beds or what ever would bounce...having breaky with a random kid on your lap. hugs and kisses and tears good bye. quinn standing in front of his house, waving until he could not see us any more

copper on his way out. jon and jess and copper didnt stay the weekend but it was nice to see copper fri night.
we had such a great weekend. i am so glad for family
