thurs morning i woke up around 3 am with the most horrible tooth pain. i also had to make 9 DOZEN cookies for a cookie exchange on fri. the kids helped make the "cookies" i cheated....
hahaha but they went over really well and all of them were eaten at the party
so back to my tooth pain. i was in the worst pain all day. i finally caved and made an appoint for fri morning to prob have a root canal done. i was hurting. after spending thurs night out in the cold...thats a whole other story! i knocked myself out with sleeping pills thurs night and woke up fri to almost NO pain. i went and saw my dentist. he's the best! he checked me over, and decided to wait out the pain NOT wanting to do any work that doesnt need to be done. he gave me meds to help heal the tooth if needed but he was hopeful that my tooth was sore because of the deep filling that was done. when he went to fx the tooth that i broke the filling was set on the nerve...anyways. he booked me 2 appointments for next week in case i need the root canal done....but each day my tooth is getting much better. yesterday i could eat ice cream and drink coffee with NO pain. the tooth is still sore but its NOTHING like it was on thurs....i am so glad we have dental coverage and a dentist who isnt looking to make more money! yeah for teeth. ha
joey is now asking to do school with me. she made those o's on the left. i was SO happy! normally she doesnt sit still long enough to make an x!

it was nice to sit and chat with other mom's and catch up with friends. it was even nicer that nate went to his friends house till 8:30! haha
chris, i think you can stop buying coffee machines. haha. he bought another one for parts of this guy he knows, it cost 95 to mail it to us. but get this! after messing around with it, chris FIXED it and ordered a new heating element for 100. so this new to us coffee machine which is worth 450 USED cost us 200 and now we can use it at the cabin! i am so stoked!
after church today i stayed behind at the church for a few mins while chris took the kids home. i came to my car in the parking lot like this. chris used his spare key to start and warm my car for me! it was so nice bec its so very cold today. i went out for a few hrs to finish my christmas shopping and grab groceries. alone. which is AWESOME. ha
oh yea, my car broke down last week, but chris was able to fix it with a new starter and battery for 300....saving us 300 doing it ourselves (himself) so after having this car for 7 yrs we put a total of 2000 including all oil changes, parts, wear and tear...so im pumped that i can keep this cheap to run car on the road for at least another 2-3 yrs!
and with that, and hopes to blog more this week than i have in the past...im getting ready to start the last week of school for the yr!!!
