happy b-day chris!

 april 28 was chris's birthday.  dude didnt want a cake, the kids did so i compromised. ha chris got the fruit tart (his favorite) and the kids had cake!

 the kids are way more into the party thing than us.  to us, its just another day!
 2 wkends ago, i spent the rainy days reading this bad boy.  could. not. put. it down.  i read it in 24 hrs. SO very good.  highly recommend it.  i sent it off to my sis to read.  the kite runner is next on my to read list from the same author.  but i dont want to start it until i can have time to finish it. i know i will want to do nothing but read, and well. i cant at this time! parenting!
 ellie LOVES peaches.  i dont buy them often cause they are $ in the winter. i got her a can last week and she sat there and licked the thing and sang how much she loved. it. ha
