evidence that i DID work and sweat. haha
we had to move the pile of wood from the original location to in front of the back hoe. it took chris and 1 about 3 hrs to do it. it was hard work. but the weather was nice and to be honest. i enjoyed it. im surprised by how i like being outside and working jobs that are not super exhausting/physically demanding. i like projects where i can see the start and finish and have a general idea of what the plan is...maybe thats why i like flooring and roofing.
the kids were good. it was a long day for them and we did have to stop more than we would have with out the kids. pee breaks, food, breaking up fights etc. but over all it was a good day
the winner of the day was miss JOHANA. she blew us away with her attitude and her helping. she really did help us!!! when she wasnt in the dirt. joey played in the dirt and was a little blob of dirt by the time we left. you should have seen the dirt in the bottom of the tub! anyways, joey won best of the day!
finished pile!!!! chris made a bridge for the kids to play on
my focused. driven. hard working hubby. this is his face when he's in the zone
this is me when i say "smile chris" and THATS why he NEEDS me in his life. ha
me. sweaty, hot and happy
moving the last plank
after we finished we took the kids to the spring. a few weeks ago chris came home with fresh spring water for me to drink. oh my word. it was SO good. there is a natural spring about 2 mins from our cabin. we ran out of water so we went to show the kids where it is and fill up. joey had a blast
they all went in the water. so cold!
having a contest-who can stay in the longest- the water was ice cold. joey won!
back to the land for supper. the best part of the day. i ate and drank coffee with the birds and my family
great way to end the day
i took the girls home to a hose down shower and drop them in bed. they were so tired. i was too!
