i took my little joe on a date ast week. we ended up at costco for a "hot gog and coke and fries" her request. she carefully applied the ketchup and posed for my pic
ahhhh the lovely spring weather and that means parks with no kids cause school is still in! ha we hit up the skate park and a visit with chris. on the days he works at the land after work i make a point to visit him, so the kids and i can see him that day
and the nights hes working ellie crawls into bed with me, i usually have to take a pic to show her proof that she DID sleep in my bed. shes so tired she doesnt remember. ha
ellie and joey. or as i yell "EL_JO!" most days. they play outside 90% of the day. ellie did school work 1 day this week. why? she only wants to play outside, riding her bike/trike, pulling her wagon. feeding her pets (chipmunk, squirrel and birds) fixing things, her imagination surprises me. and i just let her play...no time for school work! there is outside playing to be had. around 2ish the kids from the area get home from school and shes able to switch up/out her play mates until bed time. ive resorted to cooking and saving meals for the kids to eat when they get hungry and come in. i dont mind. ive gotten a lot of house work done this week!
ellie with her tool belt fixing things
joey with the hammer following her. dont worry i took the hammer from her. ha imagine joey with a hammer. so. much. damage!
wed chris and nate made the treck to freddy for a deer autopsy. ill spare you the pics on that. they had a lot of fun cutting up the deer. nate learned a lot! hes still talking about it. i took the girls to mcdees for lunch. they split a kids meal and played for 2 hrs while i napped. ha. kidding...i chatted with some moms
wheeling her prized possessions in her wagon. what are they? her wendy's kids meal bag from last sunday, her puppy, a rock and a chain!
thurs morning was nates mad science. but we can no longer call it nate's. why? because this little cutie graduated from play time to class time. ellies been begging to go to the class but to be honest, the class is pricey and i didnt want to waste money if she didnt listen. and it was at the top of my budget to send 2 kids. so, after much begging. i decided to spend the money and put her in the class....she LOVED it. oh my word. she learned so much!
my big girl!
joey stayed with me and the other littles and played while i coffied with some home school moms!
