score and bowling!

 i had 15 mins to kill before meeting up with a friend on sunday so i popped into frenchys and pulled this bad boy out of the bin.  brand new.  with the packaging.  .75 cents baby!!!!  i was thrilled! 

mon was a rainy day so we met up with our home school friends for some bowling.  nate took off with the teens and we divided up the younger kids into teams.  i put joey and ellie with judah.  and aralee and i sat there for 2 hrs talking. while the 3 kids bowled like this...

 and when did joey get a little girl look!  she is getting so big!  anyways, we had a GREAT time! 

 i took the girls home, chris took nate to st john to pick up doors for the cabin.  i went to check on the girls and found this

 i am so grateful for their relationship!

cabin!

 welcome to my cabin! ha.  the plan was to spend wed at the splash pad with friends, then home for supper and youth for nate.  somehow i ended up spending most of the day helping chris instead! the weather was calling for more rain on thurs so i told chris i would come help him today.  after a quick explanation of changed plans to the kids and a few phone calls to communicate "our plans have changed" we were off to the land to put in the windows

 its coming along!

 i helped chris put the top 2 windows in and we took a trip to the spring for water and clean the kids up a bit

 chris was planning on staying to finish the bottom windows while i took joey to a walk in clinic for a freaky bug bite with a ring around it...

 shes getting so big!  the marks are just infected bug bites, and im to watch them to make sure they dont grow and as always...check for ticks!

splash pads!

 man, the week has gone by so fast!  i cant remember what all we did!  tues i took my crew to the splash pad/play park to enjoy before school gets out!  this is the last time we will see this park this empty! ha.  we finished up school on tues and we are DONE! 

the girls played water war together.  love how they play so well together!

 time for a snack.  i pack a bag of food for when we go out and im always running out of food! what the heck!

 after the parks, we hit up the trails, did a walk, saw some ducks, and went to the nature park

 ellie is always on the go! running, jumping, climbing. i love it

 i was trying to get a pic to reenact the one we took when nate was 18 months. ellie jumped in. ha

 my, my you have grown!!

big girls

 someone knows how to ride her bike now with no wheels. and shes always on it!  after supper we go out for a walk/ride around the neighborhood. my kids sleep well at  night!

 wed we hit up a new splash pad with the home school group. its been a long time since ive seen my homies and i was very happy to catch up!  we were having lunch when kids from the local school came by for the afternoon. it was so funny watching the home schoolers all proclaim "why are they here?" haha

little jo having another snack.  it was a fun time and we all agreed to keep meeting up this summer. even thou schools done!  YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEee

i spent tues and wed cleaning out the school room.  i have all the books pulled for next yr and a general plan. but i have all the photo copying/laminating/bindering (yes i made that word up) to do in aug.  i have some new curric so i need to go through it and see how its going to work. 

i cant believe ill have a middle schooler, gr 1 and preschooler next yr!

work day

 thurs was a work day at the land. and man, i worked!  chris needed my help. ha  actually he really did!  i pulled up to this!

the water was pulling behind the cabin so chris dug a trench.  lots of fun to play in!  we spent the day there, i arrived with the kids around 10:30 and we left at 4:30...home for supper and baths cause we ran out of food!

sat work day

 fri chris got the rafter/tresses up by himself. i stayed home to get house work done man, it was a busy day.  the annual loonie sale at sally ann for kids clothing was on so i packed all 3 kids up and we hit up both stores, i got 90% of nates clothes for this summer and next winter for 25!  score! after a quick walmart run we got home in time for lunch...i spent the afternoon weeding my gardens.  man alive, it was crazy how long it took.  i finished up in time to make supper and spend an hr going through the girls clothes and pulling out their summer stuff. by the time i put nate to bed i had literally 10 mins before chris came home!  haha.  oh well! it was a good day for getting things done!

sat was spent putting the sheathing up on the roof.  chris's AMAZING coworker came out to help! thank god for this blessing!

 joey had a blast playing in her corner, talking the guys ears off the whole time! 

 and i found a pet snake for the kids to enjoy

 they built him his habitat and named him "john lindsey" and the snake even molted in the afternoon!  it was the neatest thing to watch! i had ellie release him after out lupper

 how i spent my rest time! 

 seriously so happy!

 the last sheath to put on and we are DONE!  chris's co worker left around 2, and i stepped in to help chris finish, it took us 3 hrs to finish

 DONE!!!!!

 i was and am SO tired!

 chris too!

we are taking a 2 day rest. sunday is church, we are teaching and im going out with a friend in the afternoon.  chris will spent his afternoon on the couch.ha  chris is taking monday off from the land to rest his body and get some things done in the office...i cant believe chris only has 2 weeks left on his leave!  time has gone by so fast! but so far, thank you jesus, we are still on schedule!  0 comments
