today i took the kids to the land. we are in the middle of a heat wave right now. yesterday was 32 but felt like +42. today was +33. so. hot.
anyways, i got to see the cabin and all the hard work chris has done
he is working on the electrical wiring today!

we had to make some changes to the upper level due to the change in plans with the septic field. we are doing 1 room upstairs and the rest will be open space/living area. chris and i will take the room in the loft.
the cabin is now shingled as well! i cant believe this is chris's last week off. its gone by so fast but at the same time it feels like we need to slow down...!

after lunch i took the kids to the river. the bugs were out, but it was a good trade off to have some cool breeze! the kids played in the water for an hr and 1/2. the bugs didnt bother me, i was covered in spray and i think ive built up my tolerance towards them. ha

Thanks for the update!
We’re doing well, but are super busy. Jeff has tree work lined up every Saturday, plus 1 evening / week. And it’s so stinkin’ Hot. I don’t know how he does it!!

im feeling your pain of it all! im glad jeff has lots of worked lined up, but on the flip side its a lot on you! stay strong sister! i got your back! haha
