i got use to meeka's size until we had littles over! look how big she is compared to a 3 yr old!
but she's still cute!
Feb brought us some ice storms. we lost power for 5 days but enjoyed the quiet of no screens...at least i did!
Friday y time!
i took this guy out on a date
i think this is my favorite season with him. i enjoy our late nght chats. we are more friends than mom/son. i value his insight and trust him impeccably. I enjoy hearing his views and i learned (ing) to bite my tongue when i dont agree....i also choose to ignore him when he's cranky but most of all. Im so very proud of him. He's been through to much for his age...his future is bright. I love him
Chris went to ontario the last week of jan...the girls quickly moved in!

we are down to 1 rat. poor cocoa bean passed away and he's in my freezer waiting for the ground to thaw so we can give him a proper bural...poor nibbles is all alone...
The Geography Fair arrived! It was a big success and im so thankful for everyone who participated.
and we were off to visit all the coutries. We had 12 projects show. which is a lot for our group ESP on a first time event. i was so happy with all the effort the kids put into their projects. here is peek into the day
ellie visiting Mexico
Mexico's facts. i KNEW a boy did this one. haha
India had the best snacks!
Brazil was 2 tables of information!
This project BLEW me away. They are new to N.B (as is 1/2 the group!) and she did her project on the province to learn all about it. The time and effort she put in impressed me to want to be like her! So. Much. Detail!

Each country had a snack
back to N.B!
she drew and painted most of her pictures!

I suckered Sue into doing the speaking. haha
Katie gave out the rewards. i didnt want to do official judging so i came up with "fun" awards...we had the project with the most maps, the first to register, the tastiest treats etc...each kid got a reward for participating. it was super chill and fun! i was nervous it was going to be a flop but it turned out to be great, the feedback was positive and now im organizing the science fair. haha
Joey bean!
working on her school
i seriously found meeka like this. Joey was doing her math beside her and got up....meeka didnt move!
i did a class on catapults. meeka was my helper
Ellie and Joey created a restaurant called "Molly's Memories" we each got a menu, a place mat and there was even a kids activity placemat! Ellie served us one evening..
