they made the hill twice the size and hydro seeded it the other day...yeah for privacy and green grass!

yesterday morning i sat down with the kids to go some art. we were studying the romans while reading the tree house books. anyways. we discovered that the romans were behind the mosaic tiles/art so we decided to make our own

 ellie joined us with a box of markers

 she sang with her foot on the table. what a ham!

 i gave nate cookie cutters to help form the shape. this worked like magic!  he was kept busy and focused for an hour on this!

 done! tada!  he did a great job!

throw the  baby out with the basket. oh my!?! haha

i put ellie in the hamper to carry her up the stairs. she loved it
