ellie and i met up with the family at jon and jess's place yesterday. mom/dad dropped nate off. the boys played for a bit then it was time to go
off they went to explore....what? im not sure. due to a conflict of interests and attitudes/tempers and kids being, well, kids. we left around supper to head back home. parenting is hard, hard work. i am so glad i have a great support system!
all is well. nate and i are back together again. haha. we were reading before bed, i looked over and snapped these pics
sigh. this too shall pass and he's gone.......
so today is the first day back to life. its been fun....hahahaha the first day back is always hard but after a rough start this am, with lots of added/unexpected work on my plate, things have settled and they kids are playing nicely while i blog!

It's nice to have the whole family together, isn't it?
Reading with the kids is awesome! Sometimes I "catch" Maya and Katie snuggled together in bed with Katie reading books to Maya. It's wonderful to see them like that. And sharing a love for reading is always great!
