help me help a friend!

hi all!

many kind and ever so thoughtful, loved filled things were done for chris and i after we lost our benny-boy. we loved and were so appreciative of each and everyone of them

i would say one of the greatest things that was done for us was this

a lovely friend make a donation in honour of ben for her church's up and coming missionary trip. the donation went to help a couple go to the mission field. i was honoured and was so thrilled that this gift was given to us

i have aften thought about that gift and smiled. ben's legacy will live on through that kind gesture, this couple helped someone else in his name

so i am asking you's all to do the same for me :)

our friend is raising money for the 30 hour famine and i would love to have you guys make a donation. not for ben!!!!! but just to help me, help him out! this is NOT a guilt trip or a begging or a manipulating request! i would never, ever do that! i just simply want to help this guy out. his mother has been a tremendous support to me over the past few yrs!

i want to forward an email he sent to me and include his blog site!

donation is good! it's the gift that keeps on giving!

Around the world, millions of children go to bed hungry every night. But it doesn't have to be that way. Last year, over 100,000 teens across the country did the World Vision 30 Hour Famine. They raised over $4.1 million to help children and communities in need around the world.

This year, I am joining them. By taking part in the 30 Hour Famine, I will raise funds to help provide things like nutritious food, health care and education for children in countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, India, Cambodia, and Pakistan.

During the Famine, I will fast for 30 hours, which lets me get a taste of what millions of others go through every day.

I am writing today to ask if you would consider donating to support me in the Famine. The good news is, a little money goes a long way: just $30 can provide mosquito nets to protect children from deadly malaria, $60 can feed hungry children and their family for over a month, and $100 can stock a medical clinic.

This year, I hope to raise

over $4,000 to help children and families around the world. Any help you could provide me would be greatly appreciated. To donate now, click the following link:https://myfamine.worldvision.ca/Famine/Forms/PublicProfile.aspx?id=9959
