i put on my pj's mon night and laughed. they shrunk or i out grew them....hahaha
ive added an art program to nate's morning. i was looking for a time filler for him, something that he can work on while im off doing other things, mostly keeping ellie from clogging the toilet and *shoving random items up her nose...so far, so good!
i start them off together, most days ellie makes a picture
working away
i am pleased with nate's effort so far. art and thinking outside the box is not his strong side, so far so good...but he struggles with creative expression....ellie? she grabs those markers and goes to town
and we were hit with another storm on sunday that ranged on until yesterday afternoon. chris had the day off, which was nice. i was able to go get groceries and be home in time to put the kids to bed....
i am praying we are done with the snow and cold. i am so beyond tired of it. i want grass!
* mon afternoon ellie shoved a lego piece up her nose. i was freaking out on the inside, playing it cool on the outside....i went on line to find ways to remove items from a toddlers nose. i found a method called "mother's kiss" so i waited for chris to come home. ha. explained to him how to do it, (plug the nostril that is clear, cover the kids mouth and puff) i held ellies hands and talked to her while chris did it and out came the lego piece, shooting out her nose and landing 2 feet away. worked like a charm!
then i bawled like a baby! haha
