ellie is discovering the joy of books and reading!
chris chipped in on mon to help me out and i gotta give the man props. he vacuumed the whole house, from top to bottom and then took the air conditioner down. so nice to have a semi clean house again! ill work on the windows and walls this week....with kids you are always wiping finger prints!....except for the hallway mirror upstairs i left nate's 16 month hand print, i wont wipe it away as a reminder that they grow SO fast!
funny ellie story!
mon night i was feeding jo when ellie came down the stairs and said "mommy! a moss! a moss! (mess)" i took j up to check on the mess before we got into the bathroom ellie said "mommy! baby got a bath!"
yep ellie used j's dirty bathwater to wash her doll and the floors too!
clean baby!
tues chris took nate on a job that he's working on for a friend. the awesome news is they had a GREAT!!!! day! chris said nate didnt complain once! he helped ALL day and they got home earlier than planned, around 6. i am SO proud of nate and the significant changes i see in him
yesterday nate came to me AGAIN to apologize for speaking rude to me, actually he came twice to me! and didnt argue ONCE. all. day. im in shock! we made it through the rough patch! yipeee!
so on monday i spent the day with ellie. i planned a few things to do with her, but in reality, by 3 she was climbing the walls to go outside and play and see daddy and yaya. she missed nate SO much
we did a puzzle
then ellie put herself to bed, at 10. haha
while i was making supper, she snuck off and i found her like this
on the couch eating carrots. hahaha
it was a longggggggggggg day for sure. i was climbing the walls by the time chris got home. ellie is very attached to him and not being able to be with him really upsets her, and well me after 3 hrs of "i go see daddy, i see yaya"
but as with all days, it ended. thank god
