easter

 this is ellie on the drive to hali. i took the pic and then she said "how did god make the world"  good question. chris answered...lol

we left fri morning to go to hali for the long weekend.  gotta say it was super nice!  everyone was there for the weekend.  we all got along (not talking about spouses ha) we ate, talked, hid from the kids (ok, i hid) i did some hair, we had girls night (must do again!) we had some drinks, ate some junk, the boys went to the movies, then jess, chris and nate went to another one, the kids went to the spectrum breaky while i spent the morning with my sis, we hit up ikea and did ice cream....and napped. it was a great weekend ya'all!

she is a super cute and listens well, dog! as shawns says "she better be for the price we paid for her" bawahhhh

 we did the easter egg hunt. the kids got 8 eggs.  yes, 8. thats all.  we did nothing for gifts or candy this yr.  my dug in her pantry and we used what we had on hand.  we did color separate the eggs, each kid had their own color so it was fair

 sunday i went to church with my fam.  for the first time in a 100 yrs...mom, dad, cry, jon and i went to church together.  nate and quinn too.  it was super nice to sit and listen sans kids.  chris stayed home to watch charlie, ellie and joey.  jess was with copper. i had the brilliant idea of NOT doing an easter dinner BUT to go OUT to eat on easter sunday! no mess, no clean up!  enjoyable. it was AWESOME!
