a peek before we leave!

 i found this doodle in my bed! ha. 
nate watched the girls while c and i went for a quick walk around the new buildings at the end of the street. we found a design that we LOVE for a shade type for our patio. maybe another project for chris? haha

anyways, after the walk, chris lead me to the tree house for a pre-planned at house date night.  he had blankets, pillows, snacks and candles. we enjoyed and chatted.  thanks babe for the fun night! chris totally relaxed. haha

 so. on sat. chris went to get milk at sterling's. MILK.  EVERYONE who is close to me knows that chris can NOT be trusted in a store, i thought its STERLINGS.  what can happen???

THIS can happen.  not only did he bring this HUGE fellow home, he also brought 2 MORE EQUALLY HUGE toys for the kids.  across the street from sterling's was a GARAGE sale. and chris was thrilled to tell me he got all 3 HUGE toys for 20.00. 

what the what??????  you PAID to take these HUGE items home? sob. sob.  i give up. he can't even be trusted to go get me MILK anymore. haha

 but the girls LOVE their new toys. look how BIG they are! almost as tall as joe! haha

good thing i love ya chris. it's a good thing!

after chris's garage sale "finds" he left to the cabin with the kids to visit my bro. i had the DAY to myself!  what did i do?  i hit up 3 garage sales an spent 5.00. i bought books! haha  then i grabbed groceries and came home to clean a bit, then finish up my fav show (mind hunters)  i totally LOVED the 10 hrs alone! THANK YOU!
