pt 2

 then we went looking for more tracks. SO many! 

 the original plan was to go to the river, but i forgot my snow pants and the snow was too high...oops....so i came up with plan B which was way better!

i had nate make a fire, and after 2 attempts. he DID it!  he cut ALL the kindling and logs from the wood shed, he found all the small twigs and burnable himself!  we did use a zip started BUT he got one mad fire going!

 then we roasted hot dogs and drank hot cocoa for lunch...

 after lunch we did some more sledding, down the hill into the woods!

it was a BLAST!  we spent 3.5 HRS outside.  then we went in to dry off and watch a show.  it was such a fun day, a day that reminded me that home schooling IS worth it. even on the bad days...

chris joined us for supper and we spent the weekend at the cabin...except for sat

fri night i realized i NEEDED some ME time. so sat i went into town alone for 4 hrs. it was AMAZING!  ha

i came home today with nate, to get caught up on school work and the blog, life and laundry...which will never end or stop....i just gotta get er done!

and that was a quick peek into our week!
