while purchasing a pair of *gasp* shoes yesterday afternoon (and by the way these shoes seriously rock, i should post a pic of them) and i should add the sales girl was fantastic with nate. she played tag with him and ran around the store with him so i could shop!

anyways

back to the story

shoes. check out. right. nate sees a cop and he says "look mom! a POLICEMAN"

the cop laughed and so did the sales girl

then he says "mom! my uncle shawn is a POLICEMAN! and he has a GUN!"

the cop laughed

then nate looks back at the cop and says (loudly!) "my uncle shawn made a GUN out of PLAY DOH!"

the cop looks at me and says "play doh?"

i said " play doh. and it wasn't a gun it was a semi automatic rifle. with a bullet"

the cop says "out of play doh?"

i said "ex military"

the cop smiles and says "good job"

haha! too funny

the cop leaves and then nate says to the sales girl "when i sleep and rest and eat good food. i will grow and grow and grow into a BIG boy. when i am a BIG BOY i get to go to DISNEY WORLD! i will see mickey and goofy, i like goofy and the animals!"

then he stops and looks at me and says "mom. when will i be a big boy?"

i said "go ask you dad"

i swear. i do.not.coach him! i don't even talk about it!
