nana plumps sent this awesome craft for ante for his birthday! i wasnt sure how he would take to it, bec he has refused to do crafts with me in the past, this time i sat him down and we read the instructions and he LOVED it! the only thing i did was start the stitching and show him how to do it 3 times and off her went. my scissors were dull, so i did cut the felt out for him...and off he went
he told me that he really liked making it and that boys can sew too! ha!
i held the bag while he poured the beans in, then he told me this was not "efficient" enough so he left the table and came back with a measuring sup with a pouring spout. he filled the container up and showed me how to pour the beans in and voila! it worked....father like son much????
finished crab! very pleased that he made it by himself and ENJOYED it!
thanks muetti!

Those crabs are cute, aren't they? Katie was working on hers and was determined to finish it in one sitting and wouldn't take a break. turns out she wanted to get it done before we celebrated Maya's B-day so she could give the crab to Maya. Love it when they get along like that.
I think nate and Katie are a lot a like. I wonder if its a first born thing or an eigenheer thing? ha but n is the same way, determined for sure. like I tell nate. daily. god has an amazing call on his life bec he's such a strong personality. haha
