so i volunteered chris to run a 6 wk coop program for the home educated boys ages 13+. i guess they (the home school group) have been looking for yrs, like 10. for a man to step up and do this for the boys. anyways. i contacted the lady in charge and after bragging up my hubby, that he can teach literally anything, they chose wood working. so for the next 6 wks (it started 2 wks ago) chris takes a group of boys (with a parent to watch) into the shop to create
chris asked me to come up with a list of fun projects for them to work on. the first week they made gum ball machines (chris has done this before) this wk i said "crates!" simple crates! how much fun is that? the boys will get to use all the tools, and get practice working with them. they had enough time to cut the wood up and next mon they will finish them. chris is making 3 for me. i wanna paint them and use them to store books, make a stool and a storage box of sorts. love them!
im off to find another project for them to work on. haha
johana is now able to support her head. she loves to sit in her bumbo and watch ellie and nate. she knows their voices and is looking for them as they run by. jo is such a happy little baby. she will be 13 weeks on mon!!!!!!
nate is getting into his creative side and i can now find him all over the house making pictures for me. i LOVE it and plan on keeping them all! he made this one for me last night
this is how i find them most mornings. playing together until 7:30 (thats our house wake up time) then nate booters out for my phone (he is allowed to wake me up and play on my phone until breaky is ready) and yes, our baby sleeps past 7 now. sigh. love it
this am. i was getting ellie dressed and put j in nates bed, she fell asleep. hahaha
and thats a little of how we roll

For another wood project, what about bat boxes? Then they can be tied into a lesson on biology!
we are so sad, almost all bats have been wiped out in NS over the past 2 years, but Moncton is still ok (I think).
