playing outside the aquatic center
the floors are finished. it took chris and shawn 3 days and MUCH sweat to seal them. we decided to go with sealed concrete and not tile. its much more durable, easy to clean and if i get tired of it i can cover it. so far....im keeping it!
Metepenagiag!
i arranged a tour to the indigenous center up north. some trips are ok, some are not our thing. but this trip was fantastic. we spent the day. we toured the center, watched a movie, observed the opening ceremony, listened to some live pow wow songs, had lunch, watched the historians work in the lab, had one on one sessions with the staff, then toured the outsidde teepees, walked the nature trail and identified local herbs, berries and signs of spring, then went to the river to talk about life along the shore...it was amazing! worth the 4 hour drive and entry fee!
