i love our new play ground! hahahahaha
absolutely safer from 1930's!
hours of FUN!
we had a purple sun one day, very weird!
kingslanding! i was able to book 2 tours to kingslanding for our home school group. it was so cheap! 5/person. it was FANTASTIC. this is my favorite trip we did. it was a full day 10-5 and we only visited 1/2 the park. the morning was spent in workshops. we split the group into 2 teams and attended the workshops as we walked through the village. all the employees were in costume and played a character and interacted with us
workshop # 1 was making cookies in the old stove, they mixed, cut, panned the cookies and took one for the road
it was beautiful out! the weather was fantastic.
workshop # 3 was wool spinning. we spun 3 different kinds of wool
workshop # 4 was making butter
we then stopped for lunch at the park. after lunch we split up into groups of friends or family and toured the rest of the village.
we had a few wagon rides
marcia and joey
the printing press where they made a book mark
and the rest are random pics
im thinking to plan a spring visit as well. hopefully they will have us again!
