i took nate out this am. just us two. it was wickedly fun! he was so obedient and delightful to hang with. we found this park at the waterfront. nate played and played, then we walked the path along the water, until we got to the 1/2 way point...and nate had to pee. so off i went to find a bathroom!

counting the floating balls on the water...and the boatsi wish i could say that the afternoon was equally delightful. why, oh why must they test us??? why must he test me when chris is not here to back me up??why oh why must he test me at nanny and poppy's???? why???? man oh man. this parenting thing is NOT for the weak...and once again i am brought to my knees crying...what am i to do god????how can i teach him your ways???how????? blah!
good thing dad has ice cream in the freezer. i will indulge later. when it's quiet :)

Is that the pirate ship playground on the waterfront? That was my FAVORITE!
nope, it's a new pirate ship on the bedford water front. or it's new to me. come to think about it, i haven't see the one on the hali water...i wonder if it's still there? hummm
how many days until you can smell ocean spray?
