i have had this goddess for a few months now. i have been asked often the same question "is it really worth it?"
my answer
YES!
i have limited carpet. mostly hardwood and tile in my home and have been mocked (*cough*shawn)for having this machine
it has lived up to it's rep. i LOVE it. i use it a lot. like 3 or (mostly more) times a day. it's so easy to use, light weight, curves around furniture, toilets (fits perfect) has the most amazing suction, is light weight with 2 handles to carry up and down the stairs.
totally worth it
so how did i manage to talk chris into getting one?
easy-peasy. i presented my "case" to him as a man thinks
chris builds a lot of things, he wields, hammers, saws, pours, cuts, drills and creates. most of what he builds is for us, the house, property or to bring in extra money. to do this, he must have the proper tools. some tools he uses cheapo tools but most he has invested in quality tools.
the house is my shop. in order to maintain my home, i also need proper tools. investing in tool, that i use on a regular base to keep the house (that chris helped build with his fancy tools) clean, maintained and cared for properly, i also need the right tools
chris listened
chris agreed
i watch for a smoking deal (that's 1/2 the fun)
done!

Ssshhh, don't tell Shawn. The new house will have mostly hardwood. We will be getting one for sure, especially if he goes with the K-9 unit....

ladies, don't get your hopes up before you talk to your husbands, they're normally $700 bucks plus tax but we got ours for $500 taxes in, but it is pink which is not my favorite color but since i'm not its primary care giver it wasn't so much of an issue...and yes, i do have to admit: it is definitely a super high quality

Thanks Chris! I found it online after asking Melanie where to purchase one. The cost surprised me but the reviews are incredible for this beast! I'm sure I can do some negotiating for this, if I decided I really wanted/needed it .... perhaps I'll negotiate another year without talk of children... that should do it! Ha!

thnks chris for answering the ?'s. i was out most of the day!

chris- shhhhh never, ever, tell the price! shhhhh

cry- you must have it. if shawn wants a gazillion dollar home, the least her can do it roll a teeny, tiny dyson into the 100,000,000+ house you are building

jody-miss you too! it's been forever and it looks like i will be gone this wkend also! how's jordan? did he get back safe and sound?

mg- i was leary of everything i read/heard of this beast. then i tested it out and yep, it's worth it! esp when i do use the sucker 3+ times. every.single. day!
