i started a new thing. tues night is now called "time out tuesday" each tues night one kid gets to go out with me alone. just mom and them. the night is all about them...this week ellie went. she decided to go to bulk barn to spend her shiny gold coin on suckers for her brother, sister and herself. i was touched that she picked out candy for her siblings with her own money. love her
we then went to the mall for a treat and toys r us. her pick. where i sat and watched her play for an hour. no phone. no interruptions just mommy and ellie...and this boy who would not leave ellie alone!! he was all over, he asked her name and if she can go to his house to play, where she loved. ellie was not interested in this dude, she only wanted to play!
it was really nice to just spend time with her. no one else. im looking forward to all the time out tuesdays!
that is a quick peek into our busy life. soon things will slow down....and school will get started....sigh....schools not really going around here. ha. we read a lot but actual sit down? naw, too busy with other things....ha
blog is done. one more thing i can check from my to do list! happy tuesday everyone!
