this morning coming down the stairs i walked into this. seriously?! the best
my little man child. sigh. he's getting so big!
happy mom's day to all! for those who don't know, har. i don't like celebrating redic hallmark holidays...where they say you should go spend money and buy useless items...just because! can't stand it! but so far, this mom day is pretty good. ha. we did church (amazingly, wicked, awesome in it's own class) then we went for lunch at my most fav restaurant! cafe archibald (bbq chick pizza yumm!) and home to rest (nap time!!!) i hit up frenchy's to see if i could find something to fit this growing caboose! home again for...sure! why not! another nap! now? humm....ice cream and wonderful t.v watching all day long!
BUT i have to share my mother's day moment that happened yesterday.
nate is NOT a cuddly kid. never has been. so yesterday, i was tired (shocking isn't it!) and i wanted a nap, i told nate around 11:30 that he had to take his snack into the shop with daddy bec i wanted a nap.
nate said "i want a nap too"
i said 'no, for real. i am taking a nap'
he said ' me too, i want a nap'
i told him again, i was going to be sleeping. NO playing. he insisted that he wanted a nap
then he looks at me and says "i am going to sleep like daddy does" and removes his shirt and pants. hahaha
then he crawled into bed with me, where we napped. for 2.5 HOURS. yep. i napped for 2.5 hrs! insane. then we woke up and spent another hour playing, talking, going to the moon and back and reading books. it was rainy out side and icky. and why not??!!
that to me, was the best mother's day gift. AND nate has been SO obedient. esp today! my heart!
that is what memories are made of!

p.s chris did get me a present and another one on the way!
p.ss nate asked me yesterday to go buy him a stool, so he can put it beside the crib, stand on it and look into the crib to 'make sure his sister is ok' sigh. i love him

So cute and funny. 2.5 hours sleeping, pants, shirt off just like Daddy. Awesome.
