country stiles

chris and i quite enjoy b&b's. we like the feel that they give. we spent our first night as hubs and wifey in one as well as most of our honeymoon, we have anniversaryed in them and love to discover new ones...and we did!

jess, jon's wifey has always talked about her mom's b&b just out side amherst. never paying that much attention, but staying intrigued by it...we were finally shown the place on sunday. we got the grand tour and grand it was!

i can not boast enough about this place! it's tucked away, in the green hills of the country, surrounded by trees, it is so quiet! the decor is peaceful, calm and has that hard to get "homey" feeling away from home...the house it's self is over 100 yrs old and has been updated but still has the nostalgic feel to it. the rooms are amazing. the owners out did themselves with the decor and the amazing touch of history. each room is different yet they all flow together.

i have not stayed the night yet but long to do so! if you are in the area and want to try out a b&b you must try this place. you won't regret it!

*i am not saying this bec i know the owner...i am quite taken with the place!

Ohhh, I like!! I checked out the website ... it looks VERY nice. I didn't find any rates on the site though, which leads me to believe it may cost my left big toe .... hm... I guess I could do without it! ;) Thanks for posting this info!

(btw, you wrote country'style'.ca rather than countrystile.ca but I figured it out from your post name!)

i fixed the linky, see that happens when one does not proof anything ;)

if i remember the rooms range from 90-100 a night, which is standard rate. i believe the big room with the private bath is 100...and use of the hot tub :)
