art

 nate and i spent some time working on some art pictures with sand and glue.  we saw this on a show awhile back and after FINALLY finding colored sand (on sale from 10.99 to 2.50!) we got busy while the girls napped.  we had a good time. normally nate doesnt like creative things/making stuff but he really enjoyed this. AND he took his time. we were out there for a good 40 mins

 you take glue, make a pattern an add the sand. its messy but super fun
i made one too

then dry!  they turned out really nice. i would like to get some art canvas and make another one. i used card stock on these but the paper isn't quite strong enough...oh well

there we did some art for home school! hahaha
