skye bear!  we love her!

we had the opportunity to sit in on a workshop from a local kids author.  it was interesting to hear how a kids book can come to life, from sketches to the ipad  creator system.  she was in the end stage of finishing her latest book and we got a sneak peek (she read the book to us) before she sent it to her publisher.  gotta love local talent!

joey and ellie were creative one day with the left over scraps from the nativity workshop...interesting how they can create when OFF a screen!  im still strict with screens. they get 30 mins a day.  and im willing to get of that for the summer!

we went to copper's party. i was too busy talking to take pics...shocking i know! 

we did some reading and learning about "old fashioned" christmases!  we did some hand on crafts as well.  these apple/cloves smelt really good and i left them out for awhile

our christmas bags arrived.  we sat, coffeed and enjoyed the treats thank you muettie and vati for this wonderful, yearly! treat!
