we stayed at this castle for 2 nights.  which was nice to unpack a little. haha it had the best breakfast area so we partook instead of the walmart coffee takeawayhaha.  rows and rows of books!
adorable mini pancakes!
my morning pot of coffee!
seating area
the art work was my style and i bored my sister with endless (to her!) trips of walking around the hallways reading and getting lost!
local botany!
ok....she was rushing me this morning because we had a schedule to follow!
but look!  pretty art work!
and old buildings!

tiny, wavy, scary roads!
i could not get use to the backwardness of it all. esp the round abouts. i ended up making up a song to sing to myself to calm my anxiety (too, the left, the left, the left, too the left....hahaha)

we headed to Donegal and some local sites

the grass was so green the sky so blue!

we hiked a bit
beautiful colors!

the rain came and we roughed it out!

how does 2 cars drive on these roads!!!
you pull over as far as you can to let them pass

we stopped in this village and had a lovley chat with the owner of the book store. not sure about the chair guy....we just thought it was weird so we took pics on it

the irish take death VERY seriously. i was impressed with the amount of work they put into the graveyards!

can you even imagine touching a building thats 400+yrs old!

we went back to the hotel and did some walking the streets and countryside
